Texas State Representative - House District 102

District 102 Matters

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Like many residents in House District 102, my family and I have called this district home for more than 30 years. With vibrant neighborhoods and a strong sense of community, our part of Texas is one of the best places to raise a family, own a home, and build a successful career. House District 102 matters when it comes to the value we place on our daily lives.

It is my pleasure to serve as the new representative in the Texas Legislature. I know that House District 102 constituents deserve a strong voice for those issues that matter most to us. I stand for:
  • Strengthening public education
  • Lowering utility rates
  •  Reforming homeowners insurance
  •  Attracting new businesses and growing our local economy
  •  Lowering college tuition rates
  •  Protecting North Texas Air Quality
There is no doubt that our state is facing difficult times, however, I am committed to fighting for hard-working Texans and their families. By working together, we can tackle our toughest problems and overcome the challenges ahead. House District 102 matters greatly to our state’s future. Together we will make our state a better place.

Sincerely,

State Rep. Carol Kent
Texas House of Representatives
District 102
