Recent News 2/2010 | Rep. Kent honored for legislation creating a general program of historic highway designation, and specifically identifying the Bankhead
Highway, a post-World War I initiative of the U.S. defense department resulting in paved roads connecting the American east and west coasts, precursor to the interstate highway system.
